Between 1998-2001 I was the founding curator of the Jewish Museum of Istanbul. I was responsible for the conceptual design of the exhibits, collection development, caring for the objects, and coordinating workers and contractors.
The museum was established in the historic synagogue Zulfaris. You can read here information about the history of the building and the establishment of the museum.
In 2015, the museum was moved to the Neve Shalom synagogue and its exhibits were updated. Read more here.
